Vision Statement
We are a forward-thinking school, aiming to prepare our students for a rapidly changing world by equipping them with critical thinking skills, a global perspective and respect for the core values of tolerance, honesty, loyalty and compassion.
In the context of exceptional teaching and learning in an academically challenging, stimulating, yet supportive environment, students are encouraged to develop innovative, creative and empathetic approaches to meeting challenge and play an active role in the design of their own learning. Students are instilled with the values of confidence, resilience and emotional intelligence to make a difference to lives at Newstead Wood and beyond.
All members of the school community are valued and contribute to the future success of the school raising self-esteem and expectations through the recognition of all achievements; both academic and extra-curricular.
