Online Learning

We use a range of online platforms to support learning. Here are some key links.

Microsoft Teams - this is our main hub for online assignments. All assignments will be recorded on Teams.

Sparx Maths - used for Maths homework. Log in using your Microsoft credentials.

Sparx Reader - used for English homework. Log in using your Microsoft credentials.

Seneca Learning - used for Science, Humanities and English. Log in using your Microsoft credentials.

Kerboodle - used for languages. Click on 'Forgot password' if you don't know your log in details.

Uplearn - used for sixth form Economics, Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology and Biology. Click on 'Forgot password' if you don't know your log in details.

Massolit - used for English and Classics. You will need to create a free account.

Remote Learning

Attendance at school is essential for students to get the most out of their school experience, including for their attainment, wellbeing, and wider life chances.

Remote education should not be viewed as an equal alternative to attendance in school and is only used as a last resort.

Remote education can have the benefit of allowing absent students to keep on track with their education and stay connected to their teachers and peers.

Circumstances where it might not be possible for students to receive in person education fit 
into two broad categories: 

• School closures or restrictions on attendance, where school access for students is restricted 
• Individual cases where a student is unable to attend school but is able to learn

In the rare case where remote learning is appropriate, work will be set using the online MSTeams platform, which is our usual method of setting homework/Independent Study.

School will also be in direct communication with individual parents.
